Because of my emergency management background, in reviewing the DRM Framework, I am drawn immediately to the Project Management Cycle. In my view, this process is very well laid out, and indeed, I have experienced most elements of it in the field. The Planning Stage is critical, and is reflected in the Implementation Stage (especially if poorly introduced). Great dividends are rewarded during the implementation when the planning has been effectively introduced. The DRM Initiatives are great, and are also reflected later, when ISO 31000 is reviewed.
