I can get this started.
I have absolutely no experience with disasters! I had some minor involvement with my former employers covid response and found it very reactive and about a month behind where it should have been As they were not able to recognise the risk and thought it wouldn’t affect them.
I look after our initial climate risk work so have some idea of the increasing hazards related to CC and keep an eye of risk reporting (such as those from the world economic forum) but these are very broad and not specific to events or responses.
I’m really excited to hear some stories from my fellow students!
