i do think that there are quite a few similarities between the 2 plans both trying to involve many different services and both build on the expertise already established in emergency services, government departments and organisations that are on the ground and are active in the day to day up skill in the communities around them.
The partnerships that are made through out planning look at cooperating and coordinating programs and projects to reduce the risk in disasters.
i really felt that the 6 interrelated outcome points in the CDMP gave a good overview plan that show how it wants to develop risk reduction response programs services and outcomes that involves people from the top ( government) to the vulnerable communities …. a work in progress
