Ten Seed Technique

The Ten Seed Technique (TST) is a brilliant participatory tool, which can be used in a number of development and humanitarian settings. It is also covered in Topic TC06 of the PDRM training program, where examples are drawn from a Darwin-based remote Australia health setting; a community development program in West Bengal, India; and analysis of the social, environmental, political & economic landscape in Bhutan. Hazards (identified through the TST) are then tackled in Topic TC07, where a risk management approach is used in Vanuatu, the Rohingya community in the Cox’s Bazar refugee camps, and for Bhutan as a whole.
