Short Courses
A Humanitarian Short Course (SC) program is on offer, this covering a number of topics. They can be contexualised for a combination of clients, in particular secondary or tertiary students, and humanitarian or development practitioners. The topics on offer are highlighted below. Sessions can be delivered either as one hour online training sessions, or, social distancing requirements notwithstanding, as one hour face-to-face lessons.
The dates given below are for our Humanitarian SC program running from August to October, where this coincides with weekly Zoom tesaching sessions for our PDRM Participatory Disaster Risk Management) students. Each SC topic will include course notes; a one hour Zoom teaching session; and follow-up recording. All are on Wednesdays at 8pm Melbourne time.
