The Communication with Communities (CwC) team, consisting primarily of BBC Media Action and Translaters without Borders (TWB), in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, supporting the Rohingya refugee program there, regularly produce a Humanitarian Bulletin on the Rohingya Response entitled ‘What Matters ?’ This document, published in both Bengali (Banga) and English, summarises community feedback from both the Rohingya refugees and the Bangladeshi host population.
TorqAid produces a summary of these bulletins (see below) dating back to February 2018, with the latest of these summaries being compiled in July 2020.Download
The ‘What Matters’ humanitarian bulletin is included as a ‘Communicating with Communities (CWC)’ case study in Module 2 of the online, accredited, Participatory Disaster Risk Management (PDRM) program, which runs from late July through to early November 2020.
